The aliens might be far in-between at the start, but they can communicate with each other. Before you know if, there will be swarms of them coming at you. Try to kill as many as you can and get as far as you can, the goal is to make to make it to the World Leaderboard. Collect the "Stars" before taking off, they come handy.
